*Heroes on Duty delves into the depths of gender norms and societal expectations. This project aimed not only to challenge perceptions but also to uncover the unacknowledged heroes residing within individuals committed to breaking barriers. From resisting social pressures to redefining norms, the project celebrated the emotional fabric uniting us all, capturing the essence of liberation through diverse fields and personas. It drew much inspiration from the aesthetic of Amy Winehouse.

The accompanying video installation contextualizes the protagonists as 'heroes on duty,' showcasing their rebellion within their respective domains in relation to historical events of liberation. The split-screen presentation set side by side, original footage alongside videos sourced from online archives. The split-screen bring out the profound connection between the protagonists and the historical events depicted in the videos from online archives. It effectively highlights their struggle, commitment, and ties to the broader historical context.
