Yousef Iskandar

BIO

Yousef Iskandar is a Lebanese visual artist who works as a director and performer. Iskandar has been a part of many art exhibitions and festivals. His work reflects on gender roles, challenges established aesthetics and tackles fear and rebellion. Yousef has collaborated and contributed to different artist projects in various countries. Iskandar also runs workshops focusing on movement and freedom of expression.

2024

  • October 2024: Workshop Leader at We Are Village during the Stretch Festival.
  • September 2024: Photography Exhibition: "Queer Souls 2", featured at the Reeperbahn Festival (Hamburg).
